We are proud and honored to welcome the winemaking legends and married couple Bo & Heidi Barrett from Napa Valley, USA, to Hemsedal.
Together with Chateau Montelena and Bo Barrett, we have prepared a four-course dinner and a wine-pairing experience you won’t want to miss.
Skarsnuten’s skilled head chef, Richard, has meticulously tasted the wines and developed a specially tailored menu for this evening. We can guarantee exciting flavor combinations, and we are very excited for this event!

Heidi Barrett
Heidi Barrett, also known as the “First Lady of Wine” or the “First Lady of Napa Valley,” is a prominent winemaker from California, USA. She is famous for her work with prestigious wines, including the iconic Screaming Eagle, which has achieved cult status. Barrett has been a central figure in establishing California as a recognized wine region internationally, and her talent and dedication continue to influence the wine industry.
Bo Barrett
Bo Barrett is a winemaker from California, USA, known for his work as a vintner at Chateau Montelena. He played a key role in putting California wines on the world map by producing the award-winning Chardonnay that triumphed over French competitors in the “Judgment of Paris” in 1976. Bo Barrett has thus contributed to acknowledging California as a significant wine region internationally.
