Opening Hours – Spring, summer & fall 2026
Skarsnuten is open from Wednesday to Sunday,
from May to July & September to December.
Restaurant Lynx opens at 5:00 pm on Wednesdays and closes after breakfast on Sundays.
Our Spa opens at 1:00 pm on Wednesdays and closes at 12:30 pm on Sundays.
Please note: Larger groups or conferences can be booked outside of these regular hours.
From July 1st to August 1st we are open every day!
From December when the ski season starts, we will be open every day throughout the winter!

Hotel Rooms
At Skarsnuten Mountain Resort & Spa we have 4 different room types, 88 rooms. Single rooms, double rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. The rooms at the hotel have a view of Hemsedal one way, and the ski center the other way. All rooms have plenty of space, a desk and a large bathroom with Loccitane soaps and a Costa coffee machine.
Bar & Restaurant
We offer two different restaurants at Skarsnuten – Lynx and Miru.
Lynx – Features a cozy, private atmosphere with exciting architecture and great views. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to hotel guests and visitors.
Miru 見る – Here, we serve traditional Japanese flavors with a modern Nordic twist. “Miru” means “to see” in Japanese, offering a fantastic view of the beautiful mountains.
